1632 new COVID 19 cases, tally reaches 175898 in Bihar

Patna, Sep 25 (UNI) With 1,632 new COVID 19 cases coming to light, the tally of coronavirus positive cases increased to 1,75,898 so far in the state.Health department sources said here today that of the new cases, Patna reported with 294 followed by Purnea with 134, Muzaffarpur 72, Banka 63, Rohtas 62,Supaul 58, Madhepura 56, East Champaran 53, Nalanda 49, West Champaran 47, Begusarai 46, Madhubani 43, Kishanganj 42, Araria 39, Saharsa 34, Nawada 33, Arwal 32, Sheikhpura and Bhojpur 31 each, Gopalganj and Munger 30 each, Saran 29, Jamui, Jehanabad and Begusarai 28 each, Lakhisarai and Vaishali 27 each, Samastipur 26, Aurangabad 24, Katihar 23, Darbhanga 21, Sitamarhi 18, Gaya and Buxar 15 each, Siwan 13, Khagaria and Kaimur 9 each and Sheohar 8.
Apart from these cases, samples of 5 persons belonging to other states were collected and examined at various places in Bihar which were found to be COVID-19 positive.UNI RS AKM
