Performance of Bihar on Corona better than several states: Modi

Patna, July 23 (UNI) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Thursday said Bihar had performed well in handling Corona cases than several states and casualty remained low even though Covid 19 cases had increased considerably during the last few days.
Mr Modi tweeted it was true that Covid 19 cases had increased considerably in last few days but treatment facilities were also expanded to larger level even in districts. Fund of Rs one Crore was also released to purchase new equipments for treatment of Corona positive cases, he added.
Deputy Chief Minister said that Health Minister Mangal Pandey and state BJP president Dr Sanjay Jaiswal personally visited hospitals to take account of arrangements made for treatment of Corona cases. RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, instead of boosting morale of Corona warriors, continued to discourage them by making adverse statement, he added.
