Covid-19 toll in Bengal touches 1449 with 38 more deaths;Mamata announces to extend bi-weekly lockdown till August-end

Kolkata, Jul 27 (UNI) Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday announced to extend bi-weekly lockdown till August-end to break the Covid chain as the toll in Bengal touched 1411 with 38 more deaths and the confirmed cases rose to 62,964 with 2134 new cases.
Bengal will observe complete lockdown on August 02,05, 08, 09, 16, 17, 23, 24 and 31 to break the chain of Covid-19 pandemic, said Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday.
Complete lockdown has already been announced on July 29 (Tomorrow).
