Belle Vue Clinic to invest Rs 603 crore to set up two hospitals

Kolkata, Dec 23(UNI): Belle Vue Clinic, an enterprise of the MP Birla Group, will invest Rs 603 crore to set up two hospitals at the city. 500 crore of them will be invested in Belle Vue Clinic multi-speciality Hospital at Rajarhat and remaining 103 crores will be spent to build a nursing institute at Rajarhat named after Priyamvada Birla.
Pradip Tondon, CEO, Belle Vue Clinic said, "The nursing institute will churn out 703 nurses per year, which is big. It will cover up the acute shortage of nurses. Our first batch will pass out in 2022."
Treatment cost at the general hospital would be affordable. All the Central Government and State Government Health Scheme insurers can come to the general hospital.
