Arunachal’s COVID-19 case tally mounts to 55,232

Itanagar, Nov 18 (UNI) The COVID-19 case tally of Arunachal Pradesh rose to 55,232 as two more individuals have tested positive for the viral infection during the past 24 hours, a senior health department official said.
Both the COVID positive cases, confirmed by rapid antigen test, were reported from East Siang district. One case was reported from Rayang Military Station and another detected at the First Referral Unit (FRU), Ruksin, he said, adding that the two new cases were found to be symptomatic.
On the contrary, four persons have recuperated from the ailment in the period that dipped the state’s active caseload to 48 and increased the total number of recovered cases to 54,904, the official said.
