Itanagar, Nov 9 (UNI) As many as 47 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh, taking the state's tally to 15436, while the fatalities toll rose to 46 following the death of a 60-year-old man.
As per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS), of the fresh cases, 15 were reported from Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC), 11 from Upper Siang 11, six from Shi Yomi, five from West Kameng, two from Anjaw, one each from Tawang, Tirap, West Siang, Lower Subansiri, Namsai, Papum Pare, East Siang and Leparada.
All the cases are asymptomatic except six.
According to the bulletin issued by the DHS last night, a 60-year-old-man expired on Sunday on the way to DCH-Chimpu, near here. He was detected as Covid-19 positive through rapid antigen test and died due to septic shock. He was suffering from chronic liver disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
On the other hand, 96 patients were discharged following their recovery from the virus, taking the total recoveries to 13881.
Total active cases stood at 1509.
