Itanagar, Oct 2 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 tally crossed the 10000-mark with
detection of 224 new cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS),
the state’s caseload stands at 10020, including 7049 recoveries, and 2955 active
cases. Sixteen fatalities recorded so far.
Out of the fresh cases, Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) reported the highest at 89,
followed by West Siang 24, Lohit 20, Lower Siang 14 and Tirap 10, the bulletin said.
Eight cases were also reported from Changlang, seven from Upper Subansiri, six
each from Tawang and Lower Dibang Valley (LDV), five each from East Siang,
Kurung Kumey and Longding, four each from Namsai and Lower Subansiri, three
from East Kameng, two each from Siang, Upper Siang and West Kameng, one each
from Shi-Yomi, Pakke Kessang and Kra Daadi, it said.
Barring 58, all the patients are asymptomatic.
Of 89 cases from ICC, 31 reported from paid quarantine testing centre here, 19
from flu clinic, TRIHMS, Naharlagun (other than flu clinic three), 12 from flu clinic
RKM Hospital here, 11 from Frontier Diagnostic Lab, Naharlagun, six from testing
centre SQF, Lekhi, six from Banderdewa check gate, two from flu clinic Heema
Hospital and two from testing centre CCC-SOA Zoo area here.
Nineteen among the 24 cases from West Siang are primary contacts of positive
detected earlier while five are returnees. All the 14 cases from Lower Siang were
reported from Likabali township.
Out of the 20 cases from Lohit, 11 reported from flu clinic, Zonal Hospital,Tezu,
five are GREF personnel and four ITBP personnel.
As per the bulletin issued by the DHS last night, 159 patients were discharged
following their recovery from the virus. The highest were from ICC at 90, followed
by East Siang nine and Changlang and Pakke Kessang eight each.
