Itanagar, Sep 28 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 tally crossed the 9,000-mark with detection of 135 new cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS), the state’s caseload stands at 9,000, including 6,495 recoveries, and 2,495 active cases. Fourteen fatalities recorded so far.
Over 1300 patients are in home isolation.
Out of the fresh cases, Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) reported the highest at 62, followed by Kra Daadi 18 and West Siang, the bulletin said.
Eight cases were also reported from East Siang, seven from Lower Siang, six from Papum Pare, four from Kurung Kumey, three from Upper Subansiri, two each from Longding, Tawang, Namsai, Tirap and Anjaw, one each from West Kameng, Changlang, Lower Subansiri and Lohit, it said.
Of 62 cases from ICC, 18 reported from TRIHMS, Naharlagun, 14 from paid quarantine testing centre, 10 from CCC-SOA, Zoo area and nine from RKM Hospital here, six from Banderdewa check gate and five from SQF, Lekhi.
All the cases from Kra Daadi are police personnel.
Eight among the 13 cases from West Siang are ITBP personnel detected at quarantine facilities , four are returnees and one reported from GH-Aalo. Two cases of Anjaw are GREF labours detected at quarantine facility.
As per the bulletin issued by the DHS last night, 98 patients were discharged following their recovery from the virus. The highest were from ICC at 17, followed by West Siang 15 and Papum Pare 14.
