Consumers turn to Indian foods for boosting immunity this season

Kolkata, Aug 24 (UNI) While the monsoon sets in across most parts of India, consumers are reported to have increased their consumption of spices and Indian foods with an aim to boost their immunity.
This increase in focus on safety, health, and immunity is particularly as a precautionary measure to tackle the on-going pandemic as per a recent Nielsen report.
Consumers have been using turmeric to prepare various Indian immunity boosting drinks such as haldi doodh and kaadha at home, which are common age-old home-remedies known to build immunity.

Nagaland Health director expresses concern on surge of COVID-19

Kohima, Oct 28 (UNI) Nagaland Principal Director of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Vizolie
Suokhrie today expressed concern over the surge of COVID-19 cases in the State particularly
in Kohima and Dimapur and said that the number of positive cases was stable till August,
however, towards the end of September and beginning of October, there has been a spike in
the number of positive cases and in the number of symptomatic cases.
