Guwahati, Aug 1 (UNI) The flood situation continued to improve in Assam with no deaths reported in the last 24 hours, while the number of affected districts also decreased.
The number of affected districts has come down by one since last evening and currently 20 districts are under waters, with 53 revenue circles and 1,295 villages and localities remaining affected.
As many as 10,62,764 people in the state were still reeling under waters, with nearly 30,000 population remaining displaced.
