Ganga Prasad Celebrates Diwali with Indian Army’s Black Cat Division

Gangtok, Nov 13 (UNI) Governor of Sikkim, Ganga Prasad celebrated Diwali with Army officers and jawans of the Black Cat Division of the Indian Army, he went all the way to Libing, Deorali here today to be among them.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 17 Mountain Division Major General Rohit Sawhney and other ranks of the division were present on the occasion.
In his festival address, Governor conveyed the heartiest wishes of Diwali to all ranks of Black Cat Division, their families and remembered those who made supreme sacrifices in the line of duty. He said it was due to the sacrifices made by the personnel of the armed forces that the countrymen get to celebrate festivals and other occasions with the utmost sense of security and peace.
