Phang Lhab Sol--Festival of Unity limited due to COVID 19 protocol in Sikkim

Gangtok, Sep 2 (UNI ) Sikkimese Bhutias & Lepchas commemorate Treaty of Bloodbrothership between their ancestors around 13th century.
It is said the Lepcha Chief and his wife Thekung Tek and Nekung Nal concluded a treaty with Bhutia prince from Kham Tibet,Khey Bumsa ,in a place called Kabi Lungchok,on North Sikkim Highway.
Mount Khangchendzonga regarded as the guardian deity and witness to the treaty is also worshipped on Pang Lhabsol ,the 15th day of 7th month of Tibetan Lunar calendar.
