Sikkimese cuisine to be included in Five Star menu through HOMCC

Gangtok, Dec14 ( UNI) Experts feels that Sikkim food is still largely unexplored and the Himalayan Organic Master Chef Competition, held here on Monday in Gangtok and Sajong, it is believed will make it popular.
The competition initiated by Indian Royal Gorkha Culinary Chef Federation, in association with Sikkim Tourism was hosted by Sikkim Tourism Development Corporation at the Institute of Hotel Management Sajong, Rumtek. Chairman STDC, Lukendra Rasaily and Sonam Norgay General Secretary, Sikkim Krantikari Party Tourism wing attended the programme, on Monday. The competition which started on 12th in Gangtok had the most important day on Monday. The finals, which will include live cooking will be held at May Fair Resort on December 18.
