Kolkata, Oct 07 (UN] Efficient use of railways can add up to one pc to National GDP, according to Melinda Pavek, Consul General, US Consulate General, Kolkata.
CII East India Summit session with USA introduced new opportunities of investment as well as enhancement of bilateral trade between India and US. CII has been focusing on integrating Indo-US growth potential and channelizing the strengths of the region towards “Building Eastern India” through integrating the 5 “I”s – Image, Innovation, Infrastructure, Investment and Inclusiveness.
Speaking on Indo-US Bilateral ties, Pavek expressed US commitment towards building resilient supply chains in the Indo-Pacific post COVID-19 pandemic, as an initiative to fundamentally reshape the geographical character of cross-border production networks in the region.

Dhoni on top in paying tax: pays Rs 13 crore as advance tax till Nov 21

Ranchi, Dec 2 (UNI) Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian cricket team,
has once again topped in paying taxes.
According to sources in the Income Tax Department, in the current financial year 2021-22,
he has deposited Rs 13 crore as advance tax from April 2021 to November 2021.
