Defection in Tripura BJP: Two ruling party MLAs voted against Murmu

Agartala, July 22 (UNI) Defection in the ruling BJP in Tripura has become visible after detection of cross-voting against NDA’s presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu held on July 18 last.
The BJP sources claimed they have initiated an internal enquiry into the cross-voting on Friday.
However, nobody in the party was ready to react on the issue. A couple of BJP leaders declined to comment saying that party President Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has been in isolation following Covid19 infection and he is the authorised person to make comment on it.
