'Lantern of RJD about to extinguish, Congress will extinct like dinosaurs': Rajnath

Karakat (Bihar), May 29 ( UNI) Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh claimed that the "Lantern of RJD is about to be extinguished and the Congress party will extinct within ten years'.
While addressing an election rally in Bikramganj of Karakat parliamentary seat in favour of NDA candidate Upendra Kushwaha on Wednesday, Singh tried to connect with the people in local dialect Bhojpuri.
Comparing Congress with Dinosaur, he said that the the party will extinct from Indian politics as its countdown has begun.
Congress remained in power for more than 52 years but could not develop the Nation and now after several defeats in previous elections it is disappearing and will extinct like dinosaurs.
Taking pot shot at RJD, Rajnath said that the balloon of RJD has depleted. A Lantern can illuminate only one room, he said claiming that the "oil of the lantern was running dry and it was about to extinguish".
The Defence Minister said the BJP promises, including scrapping of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya and triple talaq, had been fulfilled.
Singh said that BJP was never into politics of creating hatred between Hindu and Muslims and adopting appeasement politics.
He claimed that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the country to new heights and the welfare initiatives will be broadened in the third term. Elaborating the welfare schemes, Rajnath claimed that under the free ration scheme, people were getting more food grains than they could consume and asserted that the food inflation rate in the country was “the lowest in the world at 2.91 percent."
However in US, it is 7.79 percent, 19 percent in France, 8.5 percent in Australia, 48 percent in Pakistan and 21 percent in Sri Lanka.
All elderly people of 70 years and above will get the benefit of Ayushman Bharat scheme irrespective of their class, creed and family background, he reiterated.
Singh claimed that India was no longer looked down upon as a weak country under Modi's regime.
