Nitish will continue as CM with RJD's assistance after election in Bihar: Chirag

Patna, Nov 02 (UNI) Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) President Chirag Paswan having bitter political relations with Janata Dal (U), an alliance partner on the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) today claimed that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would continue to remain Chief Minister of the state with assistance of opposition party, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in Bihar after declaration of the assembly election results on November 10.
Mr Paswan, MP from Jamui told news persons here that the Grand Alliance led by RJD is the first choice of Mr Kumar for forming government in the state and maintained that this would be proved after election results were declared.
He said that Mr Kumar is eyeing 2024 parliamentary elections from now itself and is preparing for it.
The LJP president said that Mr Kumar and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) have some internal dispute following which the people of the state have lost confidence in them.
Mr Paswan said that from the track record of Mr Kumar it is evident that the latter has no hesitation in forming government with the people whom he had opposed.
Referring to the 2015 Bihar Assembly Elections he said that Mr Kumar had set aside his policies and ideologies just for the sake of power and had contested the 2015 Assembly Elections in Alliance with his opponents.
