Patna, Oct 22 (UNI) Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) today promised to provide 19 lakh jobs, free vaccination for coronavirus and assured to develop five core sector including agriculture, industries, villages, cities and education for transformation of Bihar into a self-reliant state.
While releasing the manifesto "Paanch sutra, ek lakshya, 11 sankalp”, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman accompanied by in-charge of political affairs of the party in Bihar Bhoopendra Yadav, state president Sanjay Jaiswal, Union Ministers Ashwani Choubey, Nityanand Rai and others said here today that the vaccine against COVID-19 would be given free of cost in the state after it is approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
She said that free vaccination for covid-19 is the first promise made in the manifesto of the party which she said, believes in fulfilling poll promises.
The Finance Minister said that the party would provide 19 lakh jobs in the next five years and assured to appoint three lakh teachers in schools and higher education institutions and one lakh jobs in the health sector.
The manifesto which promised to turn Bihar into a hub Information Technology centre, the Finance Minister said that 10 lakh jobs would be generated in the IT sector in the state.
She reiterated that Bihar will play an important role in the country's progress for which the BJP is committed to bring back NDA into power in the state under the Chief ministership of Mr Nitish Kumar.
She said that the self-reliant Bihar road map 2020- 25 of BJP would be successfully implemented under the NDA regime.
