ALMP brings positive result on learning at doorstep for tribal children in Odisha: UNICEF

Bhubaneswar, Sep 08 (UNI) Learning and Mentorship Programme (ALMP), a unique programme aimed at bringing ` learning at the doorstep’ of tribal children during the COVID-19 pandemic has shown positive results in the learning outcome of disadvantaged children in Odisha.
These results were shared by the ST & SC Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department of Odisha government in collaboration with UNICEF on Tuesday.
Designed for tribal children enrolled in residential schools for tribal communities, the Alternate Learning and Mentorship Programme (ALMP) or `schools at the doorstep’ was developed soon after schools closed and children returned home at the start of the pandemic.
