Govt facing challenge to overhaul education sector: Conrad Sangma

Shillong, Sep 30 (UNI) Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday revealed that the government was facing the challenge to overhaul the education sector, but maintained that the government's top priority was to invest in the education sector.
"The government is facing the challenge to overhaul the education sector but the State government is committed to upscaling the educational infrastructure and learning facilities in the State," he said.
Sangma said that the government has rolled out a programme to create better educational facilities across the State.
