Meghalaya govt up-scaled three govt colleges

Baghmara, Oct 26 (UNI) Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that the government has decided on upscale three colleges, Baghmara government college, William nagar government College and Sohra government College with the sanction of Rs 12 cr each.
“It is the vision of Chief Minister (Late)Dr. Donkupar Roy and former Lok Sabha Speaker (Late) Purno Agitok Sangma and their idea that we can see this day”, Sangma said after he laid the foundation stone for the construction of the new building of Captain W. A. Sangma Memorial College, Baghmara on the occasion of Captain Sangma’s 30th Death Anniversary on Sunday.
He said that it was P.A.Sangma who had demanded provincial station of the college in 2008 when Dr Roy was the Chief Minister.
