Daltonganj, Sep 11 (UNI) Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday said that the state government was committed to provide quality education to the students of the state as continuous efforts were being made in this regard.
Reviewing the works of the Higher, Technical Education and Skill Development Department he collected information from the officials regarding the vacant posts of teachers and other teaching staff, arrangements for making permanent appointments, problems of teachers working on contractual basis.
The Chief Minister also gave necessary instructions for developing BIT Sindri as a world class institution, strengthen the Polytechnic institutions and developing them as multi disciplinary institutions, building planetarium in Dumka and Deoghar etc.
