Manipur Guv celebrates MTU’s 10th foundation day

Imphal, Aug 5 (UNI) Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla today attended the 10th Foundation Day celebration of Manipur Technical University (MTU) at Takyelpat, Imphal. During the commemorative event, the Governor, who is also the Chancellor of the university, addressed faculty members, students, alumni, and dignitaries.
In his keynote address, the Governor lauded MTU’s progressive growth since its inception in 2016 as the first and only state-run technical university in Manipur. He praised the institution’s alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and highlighted its emergence as a promising hub for innovation, research, and industry collaboration in the north-east region.
Applauding the devotion of the faculty and the achievements of students in national competitions, the Governor appreciated MTU’s forward-looking initiatives, including plans to introduce new-age courses such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, robotics, and data science.

Tripura CPI-M Chief demands high-level investigation into BJP leader’s suicide
