CII introduces Swiss Model hospitality course for Indian students

Kolkata, Aug 7 (UNI) For the first time in India the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has tied up with three stakeholders to introduce the Swiss model hospitality's 18-month professional training course for aspiring Indian students beginning this month-end in five metropolises of the country.
“ We at CII aim to direct the attention to the need for skilled, globally benchmarked talent in the Indian Hospitality industry," CII's executive director Sougata Roy Choudhury announced during a media conference.
To deliver global standards of hospitality skills, CII & IHCL Hotels ( Indian Hotels Com Ltd) partnered with the 129-year-old EHL Group, the global reference in education, innovation and consulting for the hospitality and service sector. It is ranked as the No. 1 hospitality and leisure management school in the world, he said. The students will be able to hone their skills through interactions with guests at a live and running IHCL Hotel during the 18 months of training at different locations, he maintained.
