Mega piped water project to be set up at a cost of Rs 106 crore in Odisha: Dasburma

Puri, Dec 28 (UNI) A mega piped drinking water project for sixty thousand population living under eleven gram panchayats of Brahmagiri block and 10 GPs of Puri Sadar would be set up at an estimated cost of Rs.106 crore, state planning board vice chairperson Sanjay Kumar Dasburma on the Monday.

A drinking water treatment plant with 17 lakh litre capacity would be established in five acres of land identified near Malatipatpur village, Mr. Dasburma said.

Patna, Apr 19 (UNI) Despite best efforts made by Election Commission and appeals from top leaders and celebrities, poll percentage in first phase of Lok Sabha elections in Bihar could reach only 48.23 per cent, which is 5.24 per cent less than polling of 2019 general elections in the state.
