Sustainable development indicators need to be identified; Dy CM

Imphal, Nov 27 (UNI) Deputy Chief Minister Yumnam Joykumar Singh stressed the need to identify State-Specific Indicators to achieve Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
He was speaking as Chief Guest at the inaugural function of Two Day Sensitization Workshop on State Indicator Framework to monitor the achievements of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) held today at the Classic Hotel in Imphal.
Deputy Chief Minister said we all know that amidst Covid-19 pandemic, economic activities have been badly affected not only in the State but also in all over the world. He said, despite giving a major thrust in the wake of the pandemic, economic activities have been decreased and tax collection in the country has also considerably decreased so far.
