Ranchi, Oct 2 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday said people of the state make a name for themselves with their works and responsibilities.
Speaking at the award distribution ceremony at the JSCA Stadium here, he said when the proposal for organising the tournament was brought the situation was very difficult as Jharkhand alongwith other states of the country was battling Coronavirus but it was decided that to bring out the skill the tournament should be held by adopting all safety measures.
He said, he was happy that the event has concluded peacefully and was also watched by the people of the state online. He said despite the pandemic, girls are preparing for FIFA U-17 football world cup.
