Financial help to bell metal artisans of Assam

Guwahati, Jul 20 (UNI) In a bid to promote local crafts and entrepreneurs of the State, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal presented a cheque of Rs. one crore to the Bell Metal Artisans & Trading Co-operative Society of Sarthebari in Barpeta district today.
The Chief Minister handed over the financial assistance under “Chief Minister’s Local Entrepreneur Promotion Scheme”.
Speaking on the occasion, Sonowal said the bell-metal and brass artisans of Assam have set an example for self-employment in the State.
