Arunachal Guv urges GBs, Panchayat leaders cooperation for effective implementation of welfare schemes

Itanagar, Oct 11 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) Dr BD Mishra has called for cooperation of the people, especially of Gaon Burahs (village heads) and elected Panchayat leaders for proper implementation of the Central and State Government developmental schemes and projects.
“It is the duty and responsibility of every citizen to ensure that not a single paisa granted for any developmental programme is misused, if we want progress and development in the State,” the Governor emphatically said.
Furthermore, he exhorted all concerned saying, “We all must develop, ensure and promote transparency, accountability, probity, promptness, equal dispensation, audit and mid-course correction as and when required in the implementation of all types of people welfare schemes”.
