Tripura: Lawyer harassed for facilitating interfaith marriage, one arrested

Agartala, Oct 29 (UNI) A group of people gheraoed West Agartala police station last night demanding release of a youth who was detained on the charge of harassing two lawyers in the court here, accusing them of facilitating an interfaith marriage.
According to reports, a Muslim boy of Indranagar area of the city had reportedly fled away with his Hindu girlfriend recently and got married.
The girl family has lodged complaint against the boy and allegedly, a group of Hindu youths have attacked the Muslim family couple of times but could not trace the boy.
