Drug peddler's "Illegal" Rs 1.32 crore property forfeited by Odisha STF

Bhubaneswar, July 31 (UNI) Illegally property worth Rs.1.32 crores acquired by accused drug peddler Sk. Jamsed here out of his illegal contraband brown sugar business was forfeited by the Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Police, sources said on Sunday.
The seizure of property in the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) case is under the provision of chapter V A of the NDPS Act (Section A- Z)
STF sources said on February 20 contraband brown sugar weighing 1. 227 kg, one Pulser M/c and other incriminating materials were seized from Sk Jamsed, a habitual drug trafficker having links with interstate and inter-district gangs.

Kolkata, Apr 19 (UNI) An estimated 66.34 percent of 5.6 million electorate exercised their franchise till 3 PM in the first phase election to three Lok Sabha seats in North Bengal with Cooch Behar, Alipurduar and Jalpaiguri recording 65.54 per cent, 66.23 per cent and 67.28 per cent polling respectively.
