Kuki militants launch attack on women farmers, Army jawan injured in Manipur

Imphal, Nov 10 (UNI) A Mahar Regiment soldier sustained bullet wounds on his left arm on Sunday when Kuki militants launched an attack on women farmers at Sanasabi Lampak, Imphal East.
The Kuki militants used powerful bombs to attack the women farmers. The women retreated and a combined force of Manipur Police and Mahar Regiment rushed in. They were also attacked resulting in injury of the soldier.
On Saturday a woman who was working in an agricultural farm was shot dead by Kuki militants at Bishnupur district.
