Mamata condemns attacks on Assam Rifles personnel by militants in Manipur

Kolkata, Nov 13 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday strongly
condemned the dastardly attacks by the militants on a convoy of 46 Assam Rifles in which
the Commanding Officer, his family members and some jawans were killed in Manipur.
" I strongly condemn the dastardly attack by militants on a convoy of 46 Assam Rifles in
Manipur," Ms Banerjee said.
" It pains me to learn that we have lost five brave soldiers, including the CO & his family
members. Heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. The entire nation awaits justice! "
the chief minister said.
