Jharkhand: 3 arrested with 1 kg opium in Khunti

Khunti, Jul 12 (UNI) Three miscreants were arrested with one kilograms opium and a country made pistol from Saidwa Mode under Saiko Police Station area of this district.
Khunti SP Ashutosh Shekhar says he had received a tip off about criminals planning to execute a crime on the Khunti-Tamar road following which a vehicle checking drive was launched in the at Sadwa Mode.
During the vehicle checking drive, three youths on a bike were asked to stop but when they saw the police they started to flee only to be chased and caught.
