Four criminals nabbed by Dumka Police with pistols and cartridges

Dumka, April 25 (UNI) Police have arrested four criminals along with three pistols and 11 cartridges from Bhurkunda village under Muffasil Police Station area of Dumka district of Jharkhand.
Briefing the press on Monday Dumka SP Ambar Lakra said that a tip-off had been received regarding the movement of three criminals on a bike on the Gopikandar-Dumka road.
Following the information, a team under SDPO Noor Mustafa was constituted which nabbed the criminals from an eating joint. From the arrested three country-made pistols, 11 cartridges, a bike and five mobile phones have been recovered.

All 15 candidates for two LS seats clear scrutiny

Itanagar, Mar 28 (UNI) Altogether, 168 nominations filed for the upcoming Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections were found to be valid after scrutiny of papers on Thursday, while the process of scrutinising nominations against Itanagar and Daporijo constituencies has been adjourned till Friday, the results of which would be out by 11 a.m., an election official said.
