Biker on gunpoint loot Rs 1.50 lakh in Palamu

Daltonganj, Oct 12 (UNI) Unidentified bike borne miscreants on gun point looted cash worth Rs 1.50 lakh near Haidernagar railway crossing on the Japla-Haidernagar main road of the Palamu district on Tuesday.
Police said that the victim Chandrashekhar Ram after withdrawing the cash from the bank was going to his home in Pansa village when the miscreants coming from the opposite end snatched the bag and fled towards Japla.
However before the man could chase the miscreants the gates of the railway crossing closed. Officer incharge for Haidernagar Police Station Ajit Kumar Munda said that the matter is being probed and soon the culprits will be caught.
