Assam: Three persons arrested in kidnap and murder of infant

Guwahati, Aug 8 (UNI) Assam police has arrested three persons involved with the kidnap and murder of a five-month-old baby in Cachar district of the state.
The five-month-old infant was kidnapped by three persons on Tuesday night from his house at Kazidahar area in Cachar district while he was asleep beside his parents.
“Since the infant was constantly crying in the custody of the kidnappers, the kidnappers strangulated him and buried the body under a bridge,” the police said.
