COVID19 : Sikkim records 43 new cases: Health Secretary found Primary contact of Corona positive

Gangtok, Aug 24 (UNI) Sikkim has recorded 43 fresh Coronavirus positive cases.
Presently there are 509 patients recovering from Coronavirus disease. So far 1,446 positive cases have been recorded since it started here. However, 934 have been cured and discharged.
The Secretary Health Dr Pema Tshering Bhutia, himself found in primary contact has gone into home quarantine. Many Sikkim Govt Departments employees have detected Coronavirus positive including PWD, forest, vigilance and District Court. Even the Legislative Assembly Secretariat has such employees. The public has been asked not to visit these places for a few days.
