Eight newly elected MLCs take oath in Bihar

Patna, Nov 22 (UNI) Eight newly elected MLCs were adminstered oath in a simple ceremony organised here today.
Chairman of Bihar Legislative Council Awdhesh Narayan Singh administered oath to newly elected eight MLCs in a simple ceremony organised in Annexe of Bihar Legislative Council.
Those who were administered oath are four MLCs elected from teachers constituency which include Madan Mohan Jha of Congress from Darbhanga, Kedar Nath Pandey of CPI from Saran, Sanjay Kumar Singh from Tirhut Nawal Kishore Yadav of BJP from Patna. Similarly, four newly elected MLCs from graduate consistency who were adminstered oath include Neeraj Kumar of JD (U) from Patna, Devesh Chandra Thakur from Tirhut, N K Yadav of BJP from Kosi and Independent Sarvesh Kumar from Darbhanga. Congress MLC Madan Mohan Jha took oath in Maithili language.
