Odisha govt decides to execute six rural piped water projects at a cost of Rs 1280 crore

Bhubaneswar, Oct 11 (UNI) The Odisha government today decided to execute six Rural piped water projects at a cost of Rs 1280 crore to provide safe and clean water in the districts of Ganjam, Rayagada, Kandhamal and Boudh districts.
The decision was taken at the state Cabinet meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Briefing newspersons after the Cabinet meeting Panchayatiraj and Drinking water Minister Pratap Jena said all the six Rural Piped water projects would be executed with JMM funding and targeted to be completed within 24 months.

Kohima Dec 5 (UNI) At least 10 civilians were reportedly killed by security forces who were suspected to be underground cadres of the NSCN(K) in Oting village under Longkhao area of Tizit Sub-division in Mon district of Nagaland around 4 PM on Saturday, it was reported on Sunday.
