Meghalaya Cabinet approves administrator’s rule in GHADC, elections postponed

Shillong, Oct 12 (UNI) The Meghalaya Cabinet on Monday decided to postpone the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) elections and also impose Administrator's Rule (Governor's Rule) in the 30-member Council for a period of six months.

The term of the National People’s Party (NPP)-led Executive Committee of the GHADC will end in October 18, 2020.
