Number of Hajj devotees less than pre-Covid years: Bihar CM

Patna, June 12 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday said people were not allowed to go for Hajj in past two years due to Covid-19 and this time the number of people allowed will be less than pre-pandemic years.
Addressing a function at Hajj Bhavan, the CM said that Covid vaccine was being administered free of cost to the Hajj pilgrims and they were also being imparted with special health related trainings.
Elaborating the arrangements made by the government for the convenience of the people going for Hajj, the Chief Minister said, adding that the state government was sending 14 officers and employees so that the devotees do not face any problem during their travel.
