Mamata greets people on eve of Independence Day

Kolkata, Aug 14 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday greeted the people on the eve of Independence Day.
"On the eve of the 78th Independence Day, I pay my homage to our motherland and extend my heartiest greetings and best wishes to all my fellow countrymen.
"Like every year, this year too, we will be celebrating ‘Freedom at midnight' by hoisting the National Flag at the stroke of midnight. Jai Hind! Vande Mataram!" she said on her social media.
