Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak inaugurates 11th Tata Steel Kolkata Literary Meet

Kolkata, Jan 21 (UNI) The 11th edition of Tata Steel Kolkata Literary Meet or KaLam was inaugurated on Saturday by Padma Bhushan awardee and renowned Indian literary critic Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak.
Also present were Dr. Jayanta Sengupta, Secretary and Curator, Victoria Memorial Hall, Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel and Malavika Banerjee, Director, Kolkata Literary Meet, at Victoria Memorial Hall.
Speaking at the inaugural session, Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak said, “I am extremely honoured to be invited again at the Kolkata Literary Meet. Last time I was present at the Kolkata literary meet was in 2013, and it is really encouraging to see that the literary meet has grown so big, so many people participating in the discussions..”
