2nd Supplementary Demands for Grants for Rs 50347.07 Lakh passed by SLA

Gangtok, Jan 11 (UNI) One-day long Sikkim Legislative Assembly session conducted by Deputy Speaker Sangay Lepcha, after the address of Governor Ganga Prasad passed 2nd Financial Bills and 2 amendment Bills on Monday.
Session saw passing of 2nd Supplementary Demands for Grant worth Rs 50347.07 Lakh, introduced by Chief Minister PS Tamang also in-charge of Finance. Revenue expenditure -Rs 15772.03 Lakh and Rs 34575 ,04 Lakh on Capital Account, for the financial year 2020-21. This was followed by Appropriation Bill. Govt Resolution for Including Communities among Tribals was passed. House also passed Panchayat (Amendment) Bill, introduced by Minister for Rural Development Sonam Lama and Industries Licensing ( Amendment ) Bill, introduced by Minister for Industries Bedu Singh Panth. Press reporters were not allowed on the pretext that Parliament has not been allowing.
