Bhubaneswar, July 21 (UNI) Odisha Assembly on Thursday witnessed uproarious scenes over the Enforcement Directorate’s notice to Congress President Sonia Gandhi on National heralds money laundering case to depose herself before the Directorate.
Speaker Bikram keshari Arukh adjourned the house thrice —first for ten minutes at 1140hrs and then for 15 minutes and finally till 1600hrs after both the Congress and BJP members created a ruckus in the house over the issue and did not allow the house to function smoothly.
Due to the protest, the debate on the adjournment motion could not be taken up for discussion.
