Odisha Govt follows a strict zero tolerance policy towards corruption: CM Majhi

Bhubaneswar, Dec 4 (UNI) Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday said his government follows a strict “zero tolerance” policy toward corruption.
Replying to a debate in the Odisha Assembly on the additional expenditure claims of the Department of General Administration and Public Grievances, Majhi said the Vigilance Department is working in a hyper-active mode, and its results are evident.
He stated that within the past one and a half years, the state’s Anti-Corruption Bureau has registered 324 cases against 554 individuals, including 94 senior officers, 63 second-grade officers, and 397 other government employees and private individuals.
