Odisha has a loan burden of Rs 97,205.03 crore- Niranjan Pujari

Bhubaneswar, Aug 1 (UNI) Odisha has a total loan burden of Rs 97,205.03 crore and the per capita loan burden was Rs 22,042 by the end of the 2021-22 financial year, Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari told the state Assembly on Monday.
Replying to a question of Prafulla Samal (BJD), the Minister said the state government has planned to borrow Rs 25,589 crore and repay Rs 14,001.31 crore during the current financial year, (2022-2023).
He said the state has targeted to collect Rs 163,966.52 crore revenue including Rs 46,000 crore towards its own tax revenue and Rs 48,200 crore towards its own non-tax revenue.
