Ruckus in Odisha Assembly over Caste census demand by  Opposition,House adjourned till 1600 hrs

Bhubaneswar, Aug 27 (UNI) Opposition BJD and Congress members on Tuesday stalled the business of the Odisha Assembly demanding caste census in the state.
The House witnessed a ruckus right from the question hour forcing Speaker Surama Padhi to adjourn the house four times in the pre-lunch session till 1600 hours .
The Speaker also convened an all-party meeting to resolve the impasse in the house for the last six days due to the vociferous protest by the Opposition BJD and the Congress over several issues.
