Ruckus in Odisha Assembly over Subhadra Yojana, House adjourned till 1600 hrs.

Bhubaneswar, Sep 2 (UNI) The Odisha Assembly on Monday witnessed a ruckus as opposition members from the BJD and Congress stalled business, demanding the inclusion of all women in the state under the Subhadra Yojana.
The trouble started soon after the obituary motion, moved by the Chief Minister on the demise of former Congress MLA Aswani Guru, was adopted. The House expressed grief over the death of the former MLA and observed one minute of silence to pay respects to the departed soul.
As soon as the question hour began and Speaker Surama Padhi asked Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to reply to a question, BJD and Congress members trooped into the well of the House, shouting slogans alleging non-fulfillment of promises made by the BJP in its election manifesto regarding the Subhadra Yojana.
